Vaclav Vincalek - Founder & President
Vaclav founded Pacific Coast Information Systems Ltd. (PCIS) in 1995. Under his leadership, PCIS evolved into a leading technology consulting services organization with a team of quality-focused professionals with a broad range of technical and management expertise.
Today, Vaclav's primary responsibility is setting the vision, tone and direction for the company, which includes developing greater market share in core IT consulting services, as part of its strategy for sustainable and long-term growth.
Vaclav belongs to ACETECH. He is also a BCTIA member and has been nominated to the BCIC Mentor Program as a mentor for its province-wide real estate group, part of UBC Sauder School of Business. In his role as an associate, he mentors university students in their final years of study and towards graduation.
Vaclav speaks at conferences and events in the technology industry, with a focus on issues such as web application security, network security and technology trends. Vaclav is a frequent media source on integrating technology into business, analyzing IT security trends and identity management issues.
In addition, Vaclav contributes articles to various business and technology publications. His specialty includes vision and strategic planning, business consulting, technology trends analysis, business development, client relationship management and media relations.

Anssi Nummi, Director - Consulting Services
Anssi directs and leads the PCIS consulting team, ensuring timely delivery of projects which align with customer expectations for success. With over 15 years of experience working in the IT sector, he has mastered technical project management; having delivered a wide range of technologies and methodologies for both infrastructure and software development projects.
Anssi’s experience encompasses projects in both the private and public sector—each presenting a unique set of challenges requiring creative solutions. Some of his key projects include delivery of corporate intranets and web portals, large scale server implementations and migrations, and web development projects. He is the co-author of five technical publications published as part of IBM’s Redbook offerings. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree, with Honours from BCIT.
